At the margins of #WindEurope2023, I had a meeting with @ClaudioFacchin_, the CEO of @hitachienergy. Good chance to discuss yesterday’s #NorthSeaSummit.

#Hitachi has also been supplying many items to #Ukraine purchased via the @Ener_Community Fund, this is very much appreciated.

Greetings from #WindEurope2023!

Last year, #EU deployed 15 GW of wind. While that’s a big step forward, we still need to do much more to reach our targets of 42.5% #renewables in our #energy mix by 2030. We have to move now from crisis management to long-term strategic planning.
