#WingingIt, that was a calm crossing for two nights in #Cowes-yacht-haven.

When we bought our boat she was called Sue-Ellen. However, being a child of the 70’s & 80’s it brought to mind a drunken character in the TV show Dalas, so the boat got a new name. People often ask how Deb and I will achieve something? If we don’t know we learn, or just make it up as we go along. (Maybe that’s how we all live life, after all there is no user manual for life). This is how our boat became known as #wingingit. During a recent visit she got the winter grime washed away her new name.

@flagrantvagrant Personally, I’d write something - anything - and start from there. See where your pen (or keyboard) takes you then go back and assess what you’ve done. I struggled to start my recent #screenplay but I figured I’d ignore my usual doubts and just write for the hell of it. #WingingIt

I finally made #bread last weekend for the first time in a couple of months. I use a recipe that calls for a double batch, but freeze the second loaf after bulk rise and shape because we can't eat that much at once. I never have a plan for how to thaw and proof the frozen dough. I took this out of the oven about 3 or 4 hours before I put it in the oven and was convinced it wouldn't come out, but happily it did!
