It was one year ago that my wife and I left Rome, GA and moved to Winston Salem, NC.

These are 4 pictures of some nice little place we stopped at to look around as it was super pretty.

It's been an amazing great first year here already and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I'm thankful for being out of Rome, GA and for being in a much better city in pretty much every way possible.

Bianca and I just got these done. Mine is Morse code for the letter B, and her's is Morse code for the letter C. They are on our wedding ring fingers.

We've been wanting to get these done for a couple of months now.

It's nice to get it done in 2023 since this is our 10 year anniversary coming up soon.

7+ hours on the road yesterday. Nearly 900 miles driven in total.

I've gone from Winston Salem, NC to Rome, GA and back to Winston Salem, NC.

It was a smooth ride the entire way with very little traffic, thankfully.

Another good thing that came of the trip, other than picking up my wife, we got to eat at What-A-Burger. First time in about 18 months or so as we stopped at the new location in Kennesaw, GA.

Woke up early to go to the gym today so we could get home before the contractor showed up to lay the carpet to tile transition and this was the sunrise over Winston Salem, NC.

I never get tired of seeing colors like this in the sky above me.

It's absolutely crazy how quick 2022 has flown by for myself and my wife.

January 25th, 2022 we moved from Rome, GA to Winston Salem, NC. We thought being in a new state, in an actual house, in a new city, that time would drag by because we didn't know much of anyone or anything similar.

Here it is almost Christmas time and it seems like we've only been here a couple of months or so.

This is our first Christmas in this house, as we just moved to North Caroline back in January so receiving this letter is actually a pretty cool feeling.

We certainly don't have a lot of decorations in the yard and stuff, and things will certainly be better next year as we get more things and improve a bit.

Hoping we get this award, but even if we don't, it's nice to be chosen as a possibility!
