Good Morning Chums. Today is another autumn / winter flowering plant in my garden. It looks so delicate and yet it’s incredibly hardy. It’s all about resilience. Sending hugs to all who could do with one. @keeper_of_books #winterflowering #resilience
Pretty in pink: Cyclamen hederifolium. Great for winter flowers and food for pollinators.
Tip: This is the very hardy kind of Cyclamen cultivar and will survive freezing temperatures. If you ever buy those ones with the much larger flowers, they are mostly not hardy and won't survive winter outside.

My first Hellebore flowering of the season: Helleborus x hybridus 'Double Ellen Red'.
Now is the time to cut off the foliage of your Hellebores (also known as Xmas Rose). The key reason for doing this, is that it allows you to see their nodding flowers, which are otherwise often hidden from view! It doesn't harm the plant to do this, it will just send up new foliage next season. Cut them down as in the second photograph.
