Congratulations to Janet Protasiewicz, who will now head to the April 4th general election which will determine control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She will face a conservative with connections to a plan to reverse the 2020 election results.

Protasiewicz won about 46% of the vote Tuesday, a big victory based on Democratic turnout, particularly in Milwaukee and Dane counties, that was especially high for an off-year, down-ballot, winter primary election.

Her win would go a long way towards protecting abortion rights in the state and in obtaining fairer voting districts in the state over gerrymandering.
