I want to see how YT links work, so here is 45-second silent clip of a raccoon trying to raid one of our birdfeeders a few winters ago. The metal pole had previously been closer to the house, so the raccoon could stand on the edge of the planter on its hind legs and reach the feeder. @m43stro There is a busy road by our house + a snowmobile trail along our backyard in winter, and we also have foxes, coyotes, owls, and other predators. (Also human hunters out shooting in nearby wildlife area this time of year.) We don't want Ninja Cat tangling with our neighborhood raccoons, which are 3× her size!
