Back in 2019 the #WOMADelaide festival hosted Oliver Grossetête, a Marseille based artist who specialises in 'box art'. They constructed an amazing cylidrical tower. I snuck inside and took this photo looking up at the sky, with all the reflections of the tape it looked like a portal to another world.

#womadelaide feels like it's in a poultry battery. I'm not against using animal products, per se, but the use of them in this manner, where they become waste within seconds of use, for the most trivial of purposes, seems not only antithetical to the philosophy of #womad, but also anti-animal-rights and a celebration of the human conquest of nature

This is #Womadelaide weekend. A beautiful festival with a great vibe. The feather act is definitely weird though - 10000s feathers, released into the air and drifting. It seems very "human supremicist" - glorifying our conquest of other species.
