I want to do at least five different things. I decided to start with listening to the December 25 episode of The Early Music Show from BBC Radio 3. I've mostly been listening to quiet music lately, so Gabrieli is a little intense for me, lol. But the Sanctus was truly lovely. Always down for a pretty Sanctus.
I'm making coffee and probably on to some #Wondrium stuff next. Another lecture about the Vietnam war, and then I think the travel show on Maine.
After more than two days of being cold, sad, and annoying, I finally pulled myself together. I made coffee, started the dishwasher, watched the 11th lecture in the #Wondrium "The Vietnam War" series, read 1.5 more chapters in Jennifer Taub's book "Big Dirty Money", listened to Chapter 7 in Ada Ferrer's "Cuba: An American History", and finished an audiobook version of "Lord Edgeware Dies" (Agatha Christie).
(I would be more impressed if I'd vacuumed.)
*Finally* my brain will let me get back to the #Wondrium series about the Vietnam War. I just finished watching Lecture 7.
I wonder how practical it might be to get YouTube alternatives like #CuriosityStream, #Nebula, and #Wondrium to add support for #ActivityPub and fediverse interactions

The DVDs arrived :) Several years of blood, sweat, and tears: a labor of love! #AfterthePlague #BlackDeath #pandemic #Plague #Wondrium

I just received the DVDs and course book of my #Wondrium series on the aftermath of the #BlackDeath: "After the #Plague".
This was several years of full-bodied blood, sweat, and tears. I'm mostly very proud of it. :ablobcheer:
Today I am going to campus to meet an emeritus professor of medicine who seeks to have liked my #Wondrium lectures on the #BlackDeath. As one of the #histodons on here, I’m always grateful for appreciative listeners, viewers, and readers, at a time when Twitter is just a nursery of negativity.
