@WIRED Why no mention of Corel WordPerfect? I mean that entire article read like an ad - but the mention of Pages and OpenOffice - but Word Perfect is still one of the best word processors out there - has a one time fee (buy it once).

Older article - but worth the read. I love #wordperfect - give me the blue screen any day - but the latest version for Windows 10/11 is still worlds better than MS Word.

I wished this article didn't say it was hard to use. It isn't. I will always recommend this software.

Update on the #Wordperfect document: the text was incorrect, so they had to send a replacement. This time they sent a scanned PDF that I have to run through OCR. A very #Monday sort of situation.

I just received an email with a #WordPerfect document attached. I haven't gotten one of those in years.
