This morning my 2.5-year-old son suddenly decided that he’s devastated that I go to work. He asked for 4 goodbye hugs and was clinging to me hard for each one. During the last one, in the tiniest, saddest voice, he asked: ”Pwease I can go wit you?”

Oh man, you guys. The working mom guilt is so real.

#mom of one and I am beyond spent by the end of the work week. I simply don’t have the capacity to care for another child. I tip my hat to parents who can juggle life w/ multiple kids, (all that car-pooling, taking kids to lessons, camps, making activities etc) and am slowly accepting that I’m not less than for this. In a culture that pushes more more more and productivity, it can feel radical to slow down. #parenting #workingmom
