Too many hitting achievements to mention but he was prouder of his five Gold Gloves because his defense was not as good and had to work harder to improve.
His son Tony Gwynn Jr. has a very similar voice on the #Padres radio broadcast.
This homerun off David Wells in the 1998 #WorldSeries against the Yankees made my jaw drop.

Game 3 of the 1946 #WorldSeries pitted the Eagles' Hooker against the Monarchs' LaMarque. The Monarchs won, 15-5, to take a 2-1 Series lead.
