Learnt something today. Watching snooker for 25+ years, I've always considered baulk to be the "top" end, so the triangle of reds are at the "bottom" end. Only today, hearing the commentator talk about the "top right corner pocket" referring to what I consider the opposite end of the table have I discovered this is wrong.

TV is lying to me - the table is effectively upside down!

We've all turned a blind eye on the human rights record of China so snooker hasn't been "clean" for quite some time.

Qatar is a different level, of course, and I think moving the #WorldSnookerChampionship there would be the last straw to turn me off snooker altogether.
