Their dung helps fertilize seedlings and enrich the soil with nutrients, thus supporting plant and tree renewal across the elephants’ range.

No place for Elephants

Elephants have been around for 15 million years. Humans aren't even half that age.
In the 1970s there were 1.3 million elephants in Africa.
In 2006, according to the IUCN, there were around 500,000.
In 2016, the number shrank to 415,000.
Reasons:
Trophy hunting and poaching for ivory and bushmeat.

Humanity has passed the 8 billion mark these days.
