I'm switching back into focus on Claws & Contrivances this week for the first time since the end of November - so it's time to re-immerse myself in its playlist to get into the right mood! Mischievous dragons, determined heroine & sweet/baffled hero, ahoy: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1kVNUiYYL55Byt4lHFxA2l?si=d6e58a914d4c4314

Ok, that last song got Scrivener open, but now I need to get into the long form focus playlist for writing. First up is the soundtrack the the video game The Return of the Obra Dinn. Outstanding game and the soundtrack is just incredible. Give it a listen if you haven't.

Today's #writingsoundtrack is Wim Mertens & Glenn Branca's music for Peter Greenaway's 'Belly of an Architect'. It's been a loooong time since I've listened to this one but it hasn't lost anything. I fell down an obsession spiral on The Divine Comedy's 'Promenade', which led me back to Michael Nyman's early scores for Peter Greenaway (apparently Neil Hannon was obsessing over the same things I was in 1994!), and here I am. Old friends, happy times 🙂
