We held our Contemplative Writing in Action workshop today. I'm sitting with it, honestly. It's still soft inside of me and words almost seem to harden it, trying to categorize and classify, pin down and label. Like if I hold off describing it, the primary experience will remain the ineffable experience itself, not what I call it. But I want to breathe out and share the awe. So this is me exhaling.

Thinking about moderation, which I have experience with in both online and offline spaces.

Safety levels index to whether moderators work to create a genuinely safe space, a space that's cozy for problematic people, an in-group/clique, or a personality cult.

And yes, this applies very strongly to writing workshops, among other contexts!
