The 2nd #Wyse terminal is back online as well. Now what to do with WYSE01 & WYSE02?

Rebuilding my #Wyse terminal with #lubuntu. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

The battery in my dad’s old WYSE 286 PC croaked recently and lost all the settings. Have a couple photos. I pried the top off the (mostly) sealed package and found two completely clean and non-expleded cells. Just two cells, leads, and a resister on the positive output.

This would have been new In 1986.

Discontinued, it’s a 6V non-charchable 1.2Ah battery.

I’m leaning toward getting a 223A type battery holder and associated battery, but if anyone wanted to point me where I could get a set of appropriate cells with solder tabs already welded on, it would be kinda cool to just build a new pack into the package.

The two cells are 1.25” tall (not including positive terminal) with a diameter of 6/8”
