The #WYZE cameras will write the files with the day (not date) as the root folder, the hour as a sub folder, and the minute as the filename.

That's it, the whole filename is the minute (like 54.avi or .mp4 I forget).

So if you dump them all into a folder to stitch them together, it's chaos! You have to do an hour at a time, which...

Screw that, I ended up writing some #PowerShell scripting to go through and rename them to the full timestamp for ease.

Looking for #HomeBridge users with the #WyzeSwitch. I’m able to use the #WyzePlug with the excellent https://github.com/RMCob/homebridge-wyze-connected-home-op plugin, but I’m disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be any support for getting a #Wyze switch into #HomeKit. Has anyone been successful with this setup or other alternatives? I’m not sure if #thread or #matter will help.

I picked up some #Wyze Cam v3s a year or so ago and they've been great. The only thing I wished they had was #HomeKit support and yes I tried the home assistant bridge but never got it working quite right.

Today I took a look at docker-wyze-bridge (https://github.com/mrlt8/docker-wyze-bridge) again and learned about Scrypted (https://github.com/koush/scrypted). I set them up and that's all I needed to get things working with notifications! It's even faster than the Wyze App! #homelab
