I bought a cheap DVD drive and can play CDs now.
I’m learning how to extract audio from CDs on macOS.
This was my first time using Apple Music and XLD.

Myself i use an app called #AudioFinder for this instead, but it's not free. Very handy for audio professionals, though.

Also, it's easy to convert flac with a free app called #XLD,

a must-have for numerous audio file conversions, backwards-compatible to OSX 10.4.

iTunes resists playing #flac since decades, yes. But it's audio engine also sounds worse than most free or commercial competitors. A must-get-rid-of.
