@bookstodon I finally got my copy of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou vol one from Seven Seas. I've waited for this over ten years, so I know what I'll be doing this weekend. I just wish it had gotten the full hardcover treatment.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, a slice of life manga I've always heard people talk about, finally got its official English release. The epitome of a cozy read. Incredibly minimalist in it's nature, it's full of quiet, peaceful worldbuilding, in the twilight of a world. Alpha, the kindhearted android cafe owner, serves as a great lens to view this beautiful dying Earth. Can't wait for more volumes to be released.
