I'm doing two posts today so I can keep the YMO love flowing. This was their last album and released 30 years ago. It leans even further into the 80s Kraftwerk style krautrock. I really can't get enough of them, all their albums are so varied, it's such a delight seeing their evolution.

Since the death of Ryuichi Sakamoto, I've been diving head first into Yellow Magic Orchestra's history. This one, Naughty Boys, came out 40 years ago today and is them at their peak post punk meets krautrock pop goodness. Such a fun 80s album.

Being such a huge fan of that era of electronic music, I don't know how I missed this. Such a clear inspiration to video game music also.
