I became obsessed with this song the first time I heard it--it's very catchy! But my obsession found a new gear when I watched the music video with English subtitles.

The lyrics capture the complicate feeling of looking back at the past and wishing you'd done something different, but at the same time remembering why you made the decisions you did. That a period of your life is ending despite everything you did to try to preserve it, or at least preserve the memories--which you now realize are inadequate.

The imagery in the music video matches the imagery in the lyrics--of a sunny day coming to an end, shadows lengthening, night moving in.

I'm not usually a big lyrics or music video person, but this song absolutely hooked me.
