I’ve gotten some weird random podcast-to-calendar alignment lately, both involving Sarah Marshall (don’t know if she’s here). On April 5, I was listening to a 2018 episode of #YoureWrongAbout about Kurt Cobain, and did not know until it was mentioned in the episode that it was the anniversary of his death. And earlier today, in the #YouAreGood episode from the JoCo Cruise, they went off on a very irreverent “died for our sins” bit (and of course today is Easter). Weird timing there, Universe.

Welcome to the Goddamn Ice Cube - #YoureWrongAbout podcast inspired read about a woman surviving in Alaskan bush - i think. The author, #BlairBraverman, cohosted a few episodes like Flight 571 (cannibalism in the Andes), Dyatlov Pass, and another one. her commentary made me want to read her book.

Something Fierce - heard a story on #TheMoth about a girl realizing her mom was a revolutionary fighter. much anticipated! couldn't find it at the library for ages, so i got it used.

What I find funny about the british royal family is that apparently (so said #YoureWrongAbout so I believe them) Charles was the "relatable" one before Diana married in.

Like I don't even REMEMBER Diana (I'm only 30) but the metric for relatability just changed.

But Charles who seemingly cannot do anything by himself is the Relatable One.

I just can't get over it.
