Kudos to all the amazing people who make and provide all the equipment and software that allows me to basically push some buttons and take photos like the Cocoon nebula. The sky was hazy and smoky, and yet 86 x 60s exposures still pulled in the nebula. I am deeply grateful.

There were plenty of #Prominences visible on the #Sun on 3rd April 2023. #CoronadoPST H-alpha solar telescope, 2x Barlow & #ZWO #ASI120MC camera. I took a 1,000 frame video & stacked the best 50%. #Sunspot group #AR13270 is visible in the 3rd image

@rsliva Thanks. I used a #skywatcher 250/1200 and a #zwo ASI 533MC-PRO camera. I don't think I used my 2x Barlow lens, but I should check the log again. My biggest problem is light pollution. #lightpollution

IC433 The Jellyfish Nebula in Gemini is the remnant of a supernova explosion from 5,000 years ago. Hydrogen within the molecular cloud is excited by the shock waves from the supernova creating the lattice like filaments.
This is approx 4hrs of 3min subs using a William Optics Zenithstar 61 telescope and ZWO ASI 533 MC-Pro camera

Just under 2hrs of integration - tried to bring out the trapezium and some of the surrounding dust but have blown it out a little.

Had two hours before the dutch clouds came back so I tried the Horsehead Nebula, IC 434.
Setup contains ASI533mm Pro, RedCat 51, HEQ5 Pro, ASI120mm S (for auto-guiding) and ASIAir ✨
