We are committed to eating as sustainably as possible. We make sure we minimise the bought feed - using a lot of locally grown barley & we care for our birds. Most hatches are 50/50 or thereabouts male to female so without a plan for the excess males we would quickly be over-run. Today we plucked a goose, our Christmas dinner, & tomorrow I’ll prep him for the freezer. We don’t eat a lot of meat, & eat everything when we do. #sustainable #ZeroFoodWaste
