Still playing around with my #ZeroSievert clone-ish with #Godot4 (#godotengine).
I added some zombie-chasers just to play around with the new navigation system, and unfortunately, I cannot find many guides on it yet. It looks cute though, bugs apart where many zombies want to patrol the same area.

today I am playing a bit with enemy visibility in my 2d topdown shooter inspired by #ZeroSievert
man it is annoying.
I tried with a simple cone and some raycast to see if I could see them, but the effect is a bit weird, then i played with 2 areas of visibility, and they fight for it. Might scrap it and just spawn them if they are close enough.
unless there is a better way to show things only if you face them and they are not behind other objects?

I kept working on my topdown shooter with #Godot (#Godot4) inspired by #ZeroSievert
I implemented gun switching, dropping and pickup and the recoil on the m4a1 is exactly what I wanted, INSANE!

I played a demo of #ZeroSievert and I was shocked at how amazingly simple yet complex can be a tactical shooter could be in 2d pixel art.
So I decided to park a big my football manager simulator in #csharp and #avalonia (https://github.com/vikkio88/FDSim) and play around with #Godot4 to see what I can do.
So far I am really happy with how it plays, let's see how it turns out.
