okay. i set up linux mint cinnamon and zorin os 16 again, due to being unable to start them previously on virtualbox.

I am very happy with the UI for Zorin OS! it reminds me of the UI for an ipad. But after fiddling with the settings for a bit:

1. The locale and time format should not be the same. Just because the main language here isnt english doesnt mean i want the time/date format to *not* be in english.

2. TBC..

Some distro have this problem mainly with Nvidia, but some more user friendly os like #ZorinOS16 and #manjaro fix this problem.
Try some day, it's cool to test.
But sometimes Linux don't fit, so just use that is good for you 🤗

@rhgrouls After #Apple in their wisdom decided to end support for it I installed #ZorinOS16 on my old 2013 #macbookpro last year and haven’t looked back.

@EH I converted from #Windows10 to #PopOS on my desktop PC about a year ago. Works great for #gaming and #coding too.

About the same time I shifted from #Macos to #ZorinOS16 on my 2013 MacBook Pro and I couldn’t be happier.

@realcaseyrollins @Mundon yes with #ZorinOS16 its so simple and easy to install steam and use proton and play games. I used #PopOS but did not work that well.
