@Buxton_Vienna just discovered another mindblowing feature of #Zotero (no browser plugin required)

@Buxton_Vienna #Zotero imported all my #Mendeley library in few minutes without any problem, and discovered also one retracted item because it is integrated with retraction watch. Starred folder is not imported, so if you want to get it on Zotero just create a "favorites" collection in Mendeley before the import and put there all the starred items to see this collection migrated to Zotero.

Why I'm moving from Elsevier's #Mendeley to #Zotero for the management of my references.

@amyfou @abdalian @snd1101 Sorry for being silent! Personally I have never followed any specific #zotero tutorials; when encountering a problem, I just skimmed through different forums and channels to find the answer.
Currently, my best (and most up-to-date) source of info is #obsidian Discord: in the “academia” channel, almost everyone uses Zotero as well, so expect the flood of hints, links and integrations :)

@amyfou Hi! Has been using that setup for about a year now, currently with Obsidian-Zotero plugin as a bridge: https://github.com/aidenlx/obsidian-zotero

Basically, all my #zotero annotations appear in the #ObsidianMD sidebar, so I can easily create my reference notes and even drag excerpts to the canvas to visually organize important pieces.

Definitely I am not an *expert*, but feel I have already polished some rough edges here and there – so hit me if you have any specific q:)

Pra não comprar licença do Word (pq já tenho 3 licenças corporativas), instalei o #LibreOffice. To gostando! O mais legal é que também tem integração com o #Zotero!

@diegopds83 #Obsidian não conheço, mas faço isso com #Zotero. Ele tem plugin pra Word e Google docs e linka todas as referências automaticamente.

@diegopds83 @felipesiles pra esses documentos acadêmicos eu uso o #Zotero. Ele tem muito recurso de anotação e facilita muito na hora de pesquisar. Ainda não usei os recursos de compartilhamento, mas quero tentar. Talvez faça isso este semestre nos meus grupos de pesquisa nas faculdades onde leciono...

#Zotero é uma das 10 maravilhas do mundo. Só de organizar livros e artigos e não precisar fazer a bibliografia manualmente já é o suficiente para merecer o título.

Alguém ainda faz bibliografia manual aí nos textos? Alguém não conhecia?
