Kann mir jemand mit Meinungen und Erfahrungen bei einer #accessibility Sache helfen?

Ich finde viele Quellen die sagen, dass eine maximale Zeilenlänge von 75 bis 80 Zeichen für den Lesefluss optimal ist. Unter anderem eine Guideline der WAI: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/visual-presentation.html

Ich finde jetzt aber keine Seite bei der das wirklich konsequent umgesetzt ist? Ist das einfach ein optisches Ding? Wird es aus Layout Gründen in Kauf genommen, oder hat das Thema einfach kein Gewicht?

@tuxicoman If the quality is higher people will be satisfied. So there is good reasing to act to achieve that - it‘s not only more efficient. Just take Apple‘s #a11y - their quality of solutions is not reached by any other solution out there. So quality can be more including, not less.

Fluctuation, oscillation, intermittent symptoms, flare-up, unpredictable, irregular...these words all describe #dynamicDisability. We need to acknowledge common languages.

Seemingly unrelated ways of being have similar (dynamic) impacts on #accommodations + #inclusiveDesign strategy. Workplaces, schools, institutions rarely take the dynamic nature of #disability into account when making accommodations + designing for #accessibility / #a11y

I just discovered that @MonaApp will now automatically attach a description to a photo if that description is stored in the photo’s info! I started saving descriptions to photos of mine when I was posting them and needed #AltText, in case I might post them again. I used to open the photo and copy the description manually, but now it comes along automatically! 😍

With BeMyAI and Lookout on the rise and existing services like Seeing AI and Envision being out there, it seems like a lot of #blind people are trying to become familiar with phone cameras and their interfaces. There are a lot of questions about camera positioning--e.g., how to point, how to stand, what will be covered, etc.

Would it be helpful to have an article or an audio tutorial that covers these topics?
