Holy wow! Every time I have to send bulk emails in #Salesforce I’m reminded how tedious it is as a screen reader user. They can’t be bothered to make checkboxes that behave as they should and as you can only send 200 emails at a time, one must then individually select all those after the first 200. #ugh. I want my life back after tediously checking over 100 individual non-traditional checkboxes. #a11yFail
In other news, I changed the default font on my Linux @EndeavourOS machine to OpenDyslexic to see what it's like and if will help with my reading speeds. Piece of cake!
Tried the same on my work windows laptop: downloaded and installed the file. No way of changing the default font in windows. #fuckYouWindows #a11yFail #linux

You would probably not be surprised to hear that the :dumpsterfire: formally known as Twitter's new checkmarks are not accessible. They differ by color only which makes them hard to detect by users who are color blind.

How _not_ to help visually impaired people... #a11yfail
I found this "Braille" on the underside of a bench used to change diapers on. Unfortunately, if I analyzed this correctly, the vertical distance between the lines of dots is too big, and (an even worse problem), all the dots have been horizontally pushed against each other. Thus, it's impossible to say if two horizontally adjacent dots spell out "aa" or "c"...
Are there any seeing people with in-depth Braille knowledge around to verify?
Rah ça m'agace ces publications qui fournissent des infos/avis sur un site web sans jamais fournir un lien vers icelui ou a minima son URL complète !
C'est pourtant un peu la base du H (Hypertext) dans HTTP et dans HTML !

"Over 200 of those #ADA cases were against sites that employed accessibility overlays or widgets. This is interesting, considering that many of these vendors sell their technologies on the promise (and often the purpose) of lawsuit avoidance."👏

I think the most recurring #UI #a11yFail I see almost daily (with insufficient contrast) is placeholders instead of labels on form fields.
🚫 STOP fucking doing that.
It is 💩 #UX and 💩 #a11y.
