As you can see I'm a mess with the graphics but that's not the point, this screen is 960x600 in EHB 64 colors, still not compiled but also still missing many features I want to add.
Moving while jumping need some optimization, but collisions with walls seems good.
It runs on WinUAE emulating the #A1200.

Checking out the visible difference between "Simon the Sorcerer" on A500 and A1200... regular AMIGA vs. newer AGA graphics.
It's honestly really close, even though AGA had more colours. The biggest difference are the way faster loading times and framerates on the A1200.

Magari ci aggiungo un paio di sprite ed esplode tutto π :amiga:

60 followers · 332 posts · Server mastodon.unoDopo aver corretto un po' la palette generica che ho provato tempo fa mi sono messo a lavorare sul campo di battaglia e sulla gestione delle animazioni: nel breve video si vedono le posizioni dell'eroina e dei suo eventuali alleati a sinistra, mentre a destra ci saranno i nemici, da 1 fino ad un massimo di cinque :D

How my evening has been going (once I got past the four color default WB 3.1). Turns out the reason my #A1200 was weird was due to wrong maxtransfer value on the CF card. Eventually started over with a 3.1 install floppy set. Going for an oldskool MagicWB, Toolsdaemon and copper tricks set-up with lots of demos and mods in #Hippoplayer. Still a LONG way to go. #Amiga

Made and printed my own enclosure (clips into the floppy port and grill part of the original Amiga case) to hold the oled and cables for the Gotek. Quite pleased with the result. Also has 'blongden' written in the front in raised lettering. Heh. #amiga #a1200 #retrocomputing #gotek #3dprinting
