Just came out of the #aamc2022 session on building inclusive, equitable and anti racism environments. It was packed and had lots of great discussion and ideas.

The disappointing part was of the 400 or so participants, I was one of maybe 10 white men in the session…

White guys, we must engage on these issues! We have benefited from, and are largely still in control, of a system that is systemically designed to be advantageous to white males. We need to be a part of its dismantling

@futuredocs I’m not surprised but interested in what’s driving subsets — specialist v primary care, high v low income, part v full time, academic v not. PS first reply on #mastodon hope it worked! #aamc2022
