i just know that there is a closed GFN catalog for SAP internally and one (i think) for partners.
I "sadly" had access to the former one only.

@se38 In my social circle, people haven´t even started working with #Eclipse. Let alone #VSCode. As much as I hate web-based #IDEs, they look like a good compromise between modernising the development toolkit and providing enough flexibility to provide #SAP with a platform to move everything to their cloud, which is ultimately what they want.

Ideally, I would love an #open #development toolkit that I could use on my own machine to select between #CLI, web or GUI-based tools, backed by a local #ABAP runtime that I can use at least to run mocked unit tests, but that´s a pipe-dream.

16 will do most of the time except if you keep 20 browser tabs and 20 sources in Eclipse open all the time.

Well mostly developers connect to remote desktops/VDIs anyway, so a linux phone with citrix (pls give proper ARM support) should do aswell 😁

Spent several hours debugging some code to discover that #SAP was happy to accept an email address missing an "@" (by accident) without raising an error, and just didn't send an email.

Correct the configuration and magically everything works!
