This reminds me a bit of the younger ones we tried in the first part of the tasting — a fine, easy-drinking dram, but doesn’t quite grab me.

Whisky Advent Day 6: Aberlour 9 Year Old - Batch 7 (49.6%)
Extremely light on the nose, just a touch of malt. Thick and sweet with a good amount of spice on the palate. Long lingering finish with a nice burn as it fades.
Not bad, but doesn’t jump out at me either.
