The scriptures describe those who abide in the Father as someone who walks uprightly, works righteously, and speaks the truth which is in their heart (Psa 15:2). The High priest served inside the temple, and had access into the throne room of God.

What does that mean for us today?

If the temple is inside of us, that means the ark of the covenant where the presence of God dwells lives in you (1 Co 3:16)! In the Greek the word “abide,” also means to endure. God tells us to abide in His Word, or to endure in His word (Jn 8:31).

Those who have access to the throneroom of God are those who seek to understand the Fathers word at a deeper level, enduring through the trials the Word will bring, so that they can become more like Him (1 Co 2:10, Mk 4L17).
