@DannyYee As is right. Shelter is a cost of living, like food, transport and fuel. And capital always depreciates. The only things that make shelter more costly after forty years are the desperation of others and the contribution of the entire community to maintaining an in demand location, values that should go back to that community.

But rather than fixing the problem they are hoping, contra centuries of evidence, that an all-beneficent #monopoly #state, vulnerable to a bunch of crosses on ballots every few years, can promise to paper over the problems with cash.

We're encouraged to vote. I've spoiled my ballot for 20 years near enough, but I've always gone and done it out of protest of sorts.

No party with a snowball's chance in hell has even understood the causes of the problems we face, and so are all incapable of proffering solutions up to the task, what is the point in even the charade of participation?
