Library fight against ghoul cultists in the #AbominationVaults #pf2e

#pathfinder campaign update! The players cleared out level 2 of #AbominationVaults - still highly overpowered for the challenges they're facing. I did get frustrated, at one point, but I need to remember that soon that curve will flatten out and they'll have to be more careful.

When that realization happens, they might be in for a surprise.

I'm going to work on more game prep today. More chapters to read and notes to make.
Podcasts and actual plays to watch to get different views on the story.
At some point I'd love to do GM prep style videos of the adventures I run. I really find videos like that helpful but there aren't many of them and the format isn't always great.
I'd also like to do them in text also in a chapter overview format.

I am currently gming several groups groups of #pf2e taking players on a trip through abomination vaults. I'm loving the adventure and I'm mixing in the begginer box and Troubles in Otari also to help flesh it out more.

I have a criticism of #AbominationVaults & it is that the dungeon rooms are too small. For a game that has mobility baked into the action economy this dungeon has its combat encounters in sardine tins.

When my players hit level 2 they will find that the dungeon has quadrupled in area.

The first player to point out that the stairs to level 1 don't line up will be told to stfu.

It occurs to me that #AbominationVaults is one of those rare campaigns that you can easily drop into another setting. Just drop Otari near say Deepwater or Rarelywinter or Somesuch City and you're pretty much done.
