The passing of #JohnBird this week has me revisiting his show #AbsolutePower, in which he played one of the principals of the most amoral PR agency to ever exist. (Stephen Fry played the other.) Incredible comedy. Here's a clip where they discover their über-rich new clients are literal Nazis, which is only enhanced by knowing some of Fry's family history....

Watching #AbsolutePower and after the #TrumpPresidencyShitshow, Alan Richmond's shenanigans seem almost dignified.

@lauren As EM toyed with voters of his "poll", #AbsolutePower really showed us who he really is (a small man).
P.S. Sorry I missed your live radio show last night. And I think their "Best Of" talks about "Afterlife Communication". What an odd show indeed and 100% agree the show is a good candidate for some solid discussion re Twitter.

@lauren Years later in 2022 (or maybe years ago or since day 1?), Mark Hamill had the humility (on the bird platform) to laugh at "The Star Wars Holiday Special". Whereas, I am less sure if #EM=#SmallMan(#AbsolutePower) will ever laugh at this bird saga. May be I will never care if he can?

@lauren Before all these beeping beep, EM effectively has ♾💰. His $44b bird purchase bought him #AbsolutePower on the bird which amplify the #AbsoluteWorst in him. Firing people like a nut job. Now not paying office rent for weeks, and considering (? or already) not paying severance? His Tesla employees, suppliers, and potential customers are not that blind, right?
Still isn't wrong to say, "Absolute power corrupts absolutely"?
