#abstorm looks like the tornado warning quieted down. Still gonna hang out in the basement to wait for the worst of the storm to pass
Noticing this year that when it rains in #YYC, the temperature drops several degrees while it’s raining, only to bounce right back up after the rain stops. The result is that we get incredibly muggy periods after rain, but it’s also odd because normally that 4-5 degree drop during the rain is persistent for several hours - but not this year.
The tornado that wreaked havoc in central Alberta on Canada Day was the strongest to hit the province since the twister that struck Edmonton on 'Black Friday' in 1987, researchers say.

From the birdsite:
"Hey @elonmusk you stupid fuck. There is currently a tornado warning about 100 km away and I would use twitter to follow the #abstorm hashtag to see if I was in the path of danger and i can't now because i reached my 600 read limit. People will die because of this."
I guess I should clean up the yard, we went from 30% to 40% chance of thundershowers with hail. #drumheller #abstorm #abweather

This is what it looks like outside for me right now in Calgary as result of the wildfires in northern Alberta, and yes it does smell like a firepit.
