One of the works in progress on my wall. This one is growing on me, so much.

It definitely is not finished. But in a social media world (I'm talking about you Instagram 😂) where we almost always only get to see the picture perfect finished pieces ... it is a breath of fresh air to me when someone shows something not finished, imperfect or something they're not happy with at all.

Painting title comes from Gertrude Stein's 1914 Tender Buttons: Objects: A Plate, in the 3rd stanza:

A sad size a size that is not sad is blue as every bit of blue is precocious. A kind of green a game in green and nothing flat nothing quite flat and more round, nothing a particular color strangely, nothing breaking the losing of no little piece.
