I paint watercolors on white, and sometimes I cut out the art and put it on a layer in photoshop.
The hard part is always getting a smooth edge and having the edge look natural and painted. The technique works best on lighter colors. I had some luck with this color background.

Day 6 #ArtAdventCalendar I've decided you can never paint too many watercolor florals. I'm always trying to figure out new ways to paint flowers, but no matter what I do they still look like flowers.😂

This is a mixed-media layered painting, mostly acrylic. It took me quite a few layers to end up with a quieter painting. I'm always trying to find a way to bring color to a softer pallet.
