I am working my way through excellent material on the complexities of fear towards Indigenous peoples, but would like to supplement my understanding with some readings about how the ordinary people (not the scientists/explorers) reacted towards their new everyday surroundings too.

So of course, I'm cannot stop wondering why it's more academic to be spatial than temporal when noting a future discussion.

"Below" is surely only more accurate if you have your PDF set to continuous scroll, or use a dot matrix printer.
