Hello! I'm an #AcademicLibrarian based in #Perth in Western Australia.
I support researchers at the University of Western Australia #UWA with all their weird and wonderful research.

When not librarianing, I enjoy cooking up a storm for family and friends, painting faces and taking full advantage of the cultural and natural wonders of my lovely home town #Fremantle.

Had lovely feedback in a postgrad comittee today about our library researcher training (which I oversee & teach some of), which is nice.

Throwing this out particularly to #academiclibrarian Mastodon… what’s the feeling about marking subscription vs free resources in LibGuides and equivalent? Do we want to hide or make clear to our users what is free vs what the Library is paying for them to access?
