This is Sugar Pie Acadian, an old family recipe. It never lasts long in my house. The pie tastes like pecan pie without the pecans. It was a special treat when I was a kid, and I’m glad my kids feel the same. I am French Canadian Acadian on my father’s side and try my best to teach the culture (music, history, language and food) to my kids. Here it is! A few months ago I was contacted by one of my favorite local bands to make the cover for their latest release and it just came out today! It's a 4 track EP with Acadian french song covers. One of these is a cover of Kiss's Lick it Up which I got to do a visualizer for as well!
