Sadly destructive #earthquakes hit #Turkey and #Syria today. These were recorded by Suricat #seismometers and #accelerometers installed at MoHo offices. You can see the Mw 7.9 event reaching Venice, Italy (2300 km from the epicenter) approximately 6-7 minutes after its origin. This is clearly followed by the Mw 5.6 event occurred 11 minutes after the mainshock. The whole wavetrain generated by these earthquakes lasted more than 30 minutes!
