I’m hoping I’ve finally fixed the drop-outs affecting two of my #Ubiquiti #Unifi #AccessPoints. After looking at the logs on the APs, I saw the “inform” URL was getting reset. I couldn’t find any reason for that … but the logs showed one of the changes was to the IP of my main desktop computer. I realized I’d temporarily installed the Unifi app on it, even though I normally use a Unifi controller VM or container. I stopped and removed the desktop controller app, and things are going well so far.

Had to downgrade my #ubiquiti #accesspoints going bonkers contacting ui crash services literally every second which I've saw in #pihole. Note to self: no pre-releases anymore.

In dem Zuge halten zur #FritzBox 7590 AX noch mehrere #AccessPoints in Form von #FritzRepeater 3000 AX auf jeder Etage und in der #Garage Einzug. Angebunden über frisch verlegte Cat7 Netzwerkkabel.

if your #ubiquiti #accesspoints spamming your #DNS, set the unifi controller's IP in "Override Inform Host":

Settings -> System -> Override Inform Host -> IP address of your unifi-controller
