I've commented on a GitHub issue, submitted an internal GitLab merge request, attended a meeting AND did some handyman work at home, all before 9 AM. I'm feeling highly #accomplished. 😄

After many years I've finally cancelled my Amazon Prime membership. It feels like cord cutting haha. I want to try and buy things from local stores, yes even chain stores like Target, whatever. Will still buy things I need online. A lot of the oddball stuff I need is really online only anyway. Amazon prime also just makes it waaaaaaay toooooo easy to SPEND. Feels very much like a 1st world problem, but I want to cut way WAY back on my consumerism. Honestly as I've gotten older I'm keeping things longer and longer. Even my hobby has gotten into electronics repair, keeping things going well past their expected use, and out of land fills. #accomplished

Spent about 6 hours this weekend, 3 yesterday and another 3 today going through all my storage shelves/bins sorting, tossing, organizing all the things. I’ve already completely emptied several plastic bins and big cardboard boxes, resulting in empty shelf space. Still have a long way to go. My end goal is to be able to say “I need a thing” and no matter how obscure, I’ll be able to find it quickly. Sometimes I spend more time finding all the bits I need for a project than on the project itself. Also with more empty shelf space I’ll be able to store more in the garage that’s currently in my bedroom and workshop this will open things up and allow me to feel less cluttered and make it much easier to work on projects. #accomplished

Did a bit of a clear out today. A few books (Ouch, that hurt, they were in and out the recycle bin a few times) An old panasonic camera, (The type with the little viewfinder on the side, that you pulled out. Very old) Various un-needed cables. About 20 gel pens, clearly dried up, and various other niknaks. Filled half a black sack. A worthy day. Got a lot of writing done today too.

Slowly battering e-mail into submission, and almost all caught up. Created BookWyrm account (on the Library of the Uncommons instance), and have I think figured out how the network that I'm in charge of at work is put together and what connects to what.
