Recording yourself while practising is a great way of hearing what needs to be improved.
The camera doesn’t lie.
I reworked the fingering for some of this section and wanted to hear how it works.
A few finger slips here but overall I think heading in the right direction.

One of the most hard-working accompanists in the genre and someone with an encyclopedic knowledge of old tunes and how they are related to each other.

Came across this while looking for Max Yankowitz references on Jochre Search. From the Lexicon of Yiddish Theatre vol.5, It's not him, but he was another Jewish #accordionist from Bacău who emigrated to the US, identified in the entry only as Yankele with the Accordion (Hirshenbein). He traveled around in Romania as an accompanist in Yiddish troupes. He spent his final few years playing #accordion in taverns in #Pittsburgh before passing away in 1910.
