Countdown to neck surgery this Friday! Today was my last work out session; and I've scheduled a massage on Wednesday. Every morning this week we'll be changing the sheets, and every night this week I'll be washing with some kind of antimicrobial soap, and sleeping on clean sheets. Feels like some kind of purification ritual, but I'm guessing it's more to ward off infections than actually cleansing my soul!

I really have to stop reading about this surgery I'm supposed to have because I'm seriously freaking myself out. #acdf #CervicalSpinalFusion

So has anyone had experience with hand clumsiness and balance issues after having #ACDF surgery? I had cervical fusion surgery 18 months ago and find that I'm dropping almost everything I pick up. And I stumble when I stand up and walk if I'm not consciously thinking "ok, now don't stumble this time".

I think after the holidays I'm going to get some x-rays done and/or MRI. My fear is that I'll have to ha r another surgery, and recovery from the first one was harsh and godawful.
