Found out last week that neck surgery is in the cards for my summer. In 2017 I had anterior cervical disc fusion (ACDF) on C5-C6; now, 6 years later, the dreaded symptoms returned with shoulder pain, numb right arm and hand, burning in the back of my neck.

At least this time around I know what I'm getting into so I know how to prepare!

Last week I got the diagnosis, this coming week I'll be waiting for the phone call from the scheduler. It's moving quickly.
