Busy day traveling, finding hotel, registering for conference, walking to Freelancers Happy Hour, meeting new people, renewing old friendships, walking down the street for a delicious dinner with #edibuddies (and much laughter).

I packed my trusty purple hard-side suitcase today in readiness for beginning my road trip tomorrow. My tech and related items are in my purple faux crocodile tote. A reusable shopping bag holds cereal bars, Kind bars, little boxes of raisins, single-serving lemonade mix packets, and miniature chocolate bars. And my toiletries will go into a small drawstring bag, the last thing to pack tomorrow morning.

Yeah, I'm one of Those People.

I'm at the part of my trip planning where I've made multiple versions of a packing list, moved clothes around in my closet, tried on several pairs of footwear, triple-checked on my hotel reservation, and changed my mind multiple times about how much tech I need to take. Do I want to pack the laptop? Can I work with the tablet and its Bluetooth keyboard instead?

And luggage. Do I pack my hard case, or do I want to use a couple of duffel-style bags?
